In line with the company’s expansion plan, and in order to make our wide range of technical solutions and expert services available to the global market, we are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Panama.

Given its location and the country’s special relevance in the region, this opening is a milestone in Criteria’s ongoing and ambitious expansion project in the Americas, which is already more than consolidated, with a scope and presence that allows us to bring and guarantee the best specialized technical service to the entire global insurance market.

From Criteria, we welcome the new team in Panama, headed by its director, Mr. Emilio Palomeras, a Naval Engineer from Texas A&M University, TX, USA, with extensive experience as a Project Manager and then as a sub-contractor of Astilleros Braswell in the area of naval repairs. He was director of Two Oceans Services Inc. for more than 10 years, a company dedicated to maritime transportation specializing in cabotage and has training in Insurance, General Lines and Bonds from the Euroamerican University Insurance Academy and is licensed as an Insurance Adjuster and Loss Adjuster.

The importance of reaching this milestone, together with the easing of the restrictions resulting from the pandemic, has led to the possibility that, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new office, Criteria will hold a meeting between all Criteria’s managers in each of the American countries, a meeting that will serve both as a fraternal gathering and as a boost for this project, which is now a reality.

If you would like to contact or request more information about Criteria’s new team in Panama (or any of our international offices), you can do so through our website.
